Water that reaches 211 degrees is very hot. But it must reach a temperature of 212 degrees to begin to boil.
One small degree makes a huge difference. Major accomplishments are won by fascinatingly small margins. Sometimes success is just one small act away. Ok. I’ll be honest with you. The thought of the Bird Flu coming to town has had me in a cold sweat more than once in the middle of the night. I like to think I’m a fairly average person when it comes to worry, but if the thought of a new flu against which we currently have very little protection didn’t worry me at least a little bit, well, I would be a bit more naive than I need to be! It also doesn’t help…
