Being home with the children is a busy time and any type of work from home business to make a little extra money or with a plan to do it full time, has to be something that can be done when you want and for how long you want.
Also, you need a support team so that if you are busy with the children you can call John and say “John, I need you to follow up with someone for me ok? She’ll only be home this morning and I promised the children I’d take them to the park”.
I looked hard and long for the ‘Perfect Business’ that would let me work towards a lifestyle rather than just working for a living and this is what I found to be the best of everything I saw…
It is interesting that so many home based businesses are called home based businesses! Most of the ‘work’ I do, is actually done while I’m out and about. While I’m at the kids baseball or soccer games, or at the grocery, I’m always meeting new people and seeing people I haven’t seen in a while. I usually have a business card with my website on it and a few of our product newspapers with me. Eventually, the subject of health comes up and I’ll mention how great its been that the boys haven’t been to the doctor’s in several years now since they’ve been on the mangosteen juice and how the arthritis in my knee just plain doesn’t bother me anymore, and in fact, I go running every day! Its amazing how much fun I have with this because basically I do what I love doing anyway which is to meet new people and to talk with people. I don’t usually bring up the business per se, but I will tell them that they can get their juice at a discount, if not for free, by referring the product to others. That is appealing for quite a few people! Drink juice, be healthy, be wealthy.
By far the most fun comes from waking up every day and knowing that I may still have to go to a 9 to 5 job, but I also have my own business. I have something that is mine and that I can grow as big or as little as I want. That extra money can go towards college funds, a car payment, a vacation, whatever. The cool thing is that I did it through my own efforts while having fun at the same time and helping others to boot!
How much can this be worth to you? Well lets say that your monthly checks from the company are $173.00 excluding any bonus checks. That is $173.00 of residual income! That means that the check coming in is from work that you have done and that will continue on without you having to do that same work again. Think of it like this.
