On to the amazing benefits for your health, longevity, and peace of mind…
Longevity and Purple Pigmented Fruits
“”natural pigments responsible for the beautiful blue/purple/reddish color of certain fruits and vegetables may help prevent obesity. Their animal study however, reports that eating the whole fruit containing these pigments seems to be less effective than eating an extract of the berry…pigments — called anthocyanins — prevent obesity in laboratory mice fed a high-fat diet. Anthocyanins are found in grape skins, blueberries, blackberries, purple corn, and other foods.””
And from Science Daily…
“”Evidence from laboratory experiments on rats and on human colon cancer cells also suggests that anthocyanins — the compounds that give color to most red, purple and blue fruits and vegetables — appreciably slow the growth of colon cancer cells.

Why are anti-oxidants important? Check out this blog post by a Professor at NYU. Professor at NYU on anti-oxidants and various cancers.

The acia berry, the wolfberry, and the noni fruit are just a few that come to mind. All of these do have a high antioxidant rating. It is just the antioxidant type is not a xanthone. And that’s what makes the difference…
